Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress, born three days before Halloween, 1983, at Los Angeles. She is the daughter the singer and songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the granddaughter of actor-musician Bobby Ramos. She grew up in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Thompson is Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian heritage. Thompson was involved in numerous productions in Santa Monica High School. She was enrolled in Santa Monica College after graduation and was awarded a cultural Anthropology degree. For her role as Juliet the character in William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" at the Pasadena California production at the Boston Court Theatre. The show's performance was a big hit and was rewarded with an NAACP Theatre nomination the same year. Tessa appeared on TV for the first time in 2005. The show she starred in was an actress in the CBS Series.
