Srushti Dehmukh started preparing for UPSC when she was in her 3rd semester of her engineering degree. When she graduated in engineering, she was unsure if it would make her happy. Once she realized her goal, she began to work for civil service. She was urged by her parents to go after a civil service career and to prepare for exams. She remained motivated and concentrated on becoming an IAS Officer. To be able to pass UPSC is a lot of work. She studied for the engineering examinations in only one-and-ahalf months, avoiding social life. She is convinced that focus is the most important factor to succeed in the government examination and be an official in the civil service. She wanted to pass this exam on the first go and put in a lot of work. Her daily routine included reading papers to stay current with all the latest information.
