Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo on the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was a well-known actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Early theater work includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011they renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during a Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the set of the show. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) as one of their favorite TV couples. Entertainment Television.
